Border Security Expo (BSE) welcomes qualified members of the media covering border security, homeland security, law enforcement, defense, technology, and national security. To ensure the integrity and security of the event, all media must apply for credentials in advance.
This page serves as the central resource for press attending or covering Border Security Expo.
PRESS REGISTRATION
All media must apply for press credentials prior to attending Border Security Expo.
If your press application is approved, no additional registration steps are required.
Approved media will be registered by the BSE team using the information provided in the application.
Priority Application Deadline:
Friday, 24 April 2026
Applications submitted after this date may be subject to delayed processing or onsite verification.
Please note: Certain optional items, including hosted lunches, are not included with press credentials. Lunch options and pricing will be communicated to approved media in advance of
the event.
WHO QUALIFIES?
Press credentials are reserved for working members of the media who are actively covering relevant industries.
Eligible applicants include:

Reporters, editors, producers, and anchors

Camera crews and still photographers
-
Industry analysts covering border security, homeland security, or public safety
-
Journalists with a current assignment from an established outlet
Applicants must demonstrate current employment by or assignment for a publication or program that is:

Previously established
-
Independent
-
Regularly updated with original, industry-related content
PRESS GUIDELINES
All press must submit a Press Application and receive written approval prior to attending.
Approved media may attend keynote and plenary sessions; attendees receive priority during Q&A.
Press credentials are required to access the exhibit hall.
Cameras and recording devices must be disclosed during the application process.
The organizers reserve the right to approve, deny, or revoke credentials at their discretion.
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY POLICY
Due to the sensitive nature of products and demonstrations:

Photography or video recording inside exhibitor booths is strictly prohibited without explicit permission from the exhibitor.

This policy applies to press, exhibitors, and attendees.

Approved photography or filming in plenary or common areas may be permitted on a case-by-case basis and must be requested in advance.
PRESS INTERVIEWS & ONSITE ACCESS

To support productive and respectful media engagement:

Press interviews may only be conducted with exhibitors who have opted in.
-
Dedicated press interview areas may be provided off the show floor.

Exhibitors who are open to media interviews will be clearly identified onsite.
Additional details will be shared with approved media closer to the event.
ACCEPTED MEDIA CREDENTIALS
Applicants will be asked to provide one or more of the following:

Masthead listing editorial role
-
Recent bylined article from a credible outlet
-
News outlet webpage listing staff role
-
Government-issued or media outlet press ID during badge pickup
