    Over the past 28 years, Mackler has held senior positions in some of the country's leading companies. Building upon existing infrastructures, leveraging assets and developing partnerships and alliances, he has been a pioneer in the business-to-business media communications industry serving as President & CEO of Cygnus Business Media, President of Reed Exhibition Companies, N.A., a division of Reed Elsevier, and principal and CEO of CMC, a privately-held, trade show, conference and publishing company.

    Mackler has an established track record of launching and growing tradeshows, then sourcing and acquiring complementary shows and related media and communications' products to create branded franchises that dominate their marketplaces. He is the former Chairman of the New York Area Chapter of IAEM (formerly International Association for Exhibition Management –currently IAEE), and a founding member and board member of SISO (Society of Independent Show Organizers).

    Moriarty is a seasoned trade show and conference professional with 17 years in a wide variety of executive positions. As an accomplished sales, marketing and trade show management professional, Moriarty's extensive experience includes senior positions at Hannover Fairs USA, one of the largest global trade show organizers. He was previously Group Show Director for Penton Media, a major diversified B2B media company and Event Director for Reed Exhibitions Companies, the largest trade show producer in the world. He began his career at Reed as Sales Executive, rapidly advancing to Sales Manager, and then to Group Sales Director for the International Security Conference portfolio, before being promoted to oversee a major show portfolio as Event Director.

    Jim is a seasoned trade show sales professional, spanning 20+ years. Jim’s extensive career includes working on established trade shows as well as new launches, domestically and internationally. Since entering the trade show industry in the early 1990's, Jim has focused on helping exhibiting companies maximize their marketing dollars by listening to their needs, and helping them maximize their ROI at trade shows. Jim’s experience includes Penton Media as Sales Manager for the Internet World trade shows portfolio, and most recently Jim spent 7 years at Reed Exhibition Companies (REC), the world’s largest trade show producer, as Sales Manager for the International Sales Group, responsible for bringing U.S. companies into overseas markets in various industries. In his free time, Jim is an avid golfer and enjoys working in the garden. Jim is married to his wife Wendy, and has two sons, Ryan 21 and Thomas 19.

Joann has a proven track record of working with exhibitors to develop hard-impacting integrated programs at both new launches and established events. Joann takes pride in developing strong relationships with exhibitors and sponsors, and for helping clients maximize their ROI. Joann spent 6 years in Fortune Magazine’s conference division and held senior positions at China Expo Management Corporation, Conference Management Corporation, and was tradeshow manager for British-based Quantel Corporation. Ms. Coviello received her B.A. from SUNY College at Purchase and currently resides in Wilton, CT. She is an active volunteer in her community.

She held the position of Director of Industry Development at Reed Exhibitions from 1995-2008, and was responsible for the conceptualization, development and execution of conferences, seminars and events across various industry sectors, including the Government sector. Cynthia has served as a consultant for various publications and tradeshow companies cultivating strategic relationships across diverse industries and markets for domestic and international events.

    Show Operations


    With over twenty years of experience producing trade shows all over the world, Marti Smith is well versed in the art of international exhibitions. As a director for the National Business Aviation Association from 1998-2009, she was instrumental in all aspects of aviation conferences and conventions on four continents. In addition to NBAA, she has worked with such noted leaders as Signature Flight Support, The Canadian Business Aviation Association, (CBAA) The Shanghai International Business Aviation Show, (SIBAS) RTCA and The Philadelphia Auto Show. In addition to a wide variety of tradeshows and events with Hargrove Inc. In 2009, Ms. Smith established MS Management as an international consulting company, specializing in conferences, conventions and static display management. Ms Smith resides in Northern Virginia, where she enjoys spending time with her family.

    Kel brings seventeen years of experience in developing, marketing and operating conferences and trade shows in a range of senior level positions. Kel began his industry career in 1995 as Marketing Director at Reed Exhibitions and was subsequently promoted to Industry Vice President responsible for managing Top 200 tradeshows in North America, as well as smaller regional counterparts. While at Reed, Kel won “Best Practice” Global Marketing Awards for Event Value Proposition and for CRM Databases and Targeting. He also earned Show Team of the Year, Outstanding Show Website and Most Improved Event Attendance awards. Kel is expert at market analysis, strategic relationship development and in launching new conferences. His early career includes a progression in sales, ad agency, marketing and product management positions.

    Dave Lupinacci has a background in mergers and acquisitions and operational finance including 20 years in trade shows, publishing and media. He served 12 years as Chief Financial Officer of the Connecticut News Group newspaper company. Dave also served eight years in the trade show and magazine industry at Cowles Business Media. Dave's M&A experience covers deal negotiation, due diligence and smoothly integrating operations. His expertise also includes corporate turnaround assignments and providing ongoing cash flow and profit enhancements. He lives in Norwalk, CT with his wife Stephanie and daughters Emily and Mary.
